Parade Information 

Thank you for joining us in America’s Most Livable City’s downtown, and we hope you enjoyed the warmth, aromas, fun and spectacle of our Holiday celebration, featuring the 28th annual Chesapeake Energy Parade of Lights presented by CHASE! 

Billy and Pam Minick, owners of Billy Bob's Texas, have long supported everything about Fort Worth and we are pleased they have accepted our invitation to participate as our 2010 Grand Marshals!

Featured floats include specially designed units from Chesapeake Energy, Chase Bank, the Cotton Bowl Parade, KSCS (featuring the Eli Young Band!), the MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival's 25th Anniversary Float sponsored by Coors Distributing Company, Fiesta Mart and the Texas Rangers.  Bringing up the finale of the parade was the Santa float sponsored by Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc. featuring the stars of the show, Santa and Mrs. Claus. 

And we'll have wonderful announcers at eight announce stands throughout the route (we are increasing the number of announce stands to bring more information to our parade guests!

The festivities begin at 2:00 PM with the "Holiday Fun Zone presented by XTO Energy," in the Chisholm Trail parking lot in Sundance Square.  The parade kicks off at 6:00 PM.  Our theme is, "Unwrap the Magic!"  The parade route will travel along Belknap to Commerce, south to 6th Street, west to Houston Street and back up to Weatherford.   

Our "Holiday Fun Zone presented by XTO Energy" located in the Chisholm Trail parking lot between 3rd and 4th Streets, is returning for 2010.  Entertainment, children's holiday crafts, Starbucks coffee and great food from downtown restaurants will be featured - the fun begins at 2:00 PM! 

Activities include a Holiday Snow Party featuring four inches or real snow, and well as holiday tile painting courtesy of Home Depot and the TCU Frog Zone featuring an inflatable obstacle. Bands and groups on stage from 2PM to 6PM will be announced shortly, as well as our after-parade movie!

Many parking lots and garages are open for parade-goers, including several offering free parking.  For parking information, visit www.fortworthparking.com.  Remember to come downtown early to beat the traffic crunch!

Ride the "T" for Free after 4:00 PM on Friday!  The best way to get downtown is on the area's top transportation system.  Buses run until 11:00 PM.  Also consider riding the Trinity Railway Express from it's area parking lots, like North Richland Hills.  Normal TRE rates apply.
